RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARD THE STUDY OF MOLECULAR COLLISION PROCESSES.

Abstract

Instrumentation for the measurement of visible light scattering from gases at high pressures is described. A high pressure gas scattering cell for measurement of 90 deg. Rayleigh scattering is described. An apparatus for photomultiplier cooling is also described. Preliminary spectroscopic measurements are also indicated. (Author)
