TURBOMACHINE NOZZLE BLADE,

Abstract

A turbomachine nozzle diaphragm blade with a constant or varying profile along its height is described. The blade back is inversely concave along its height or at the root section beginning with the critical cross-section. To reduce the profile losses over a wide Mach number range, the inversely concave section has a breaking point. In a variation of this blade, the breaking point is connected with the trailing edge by a straight line.
