RANDOM VIBRATION STUDIES.

Abstract

During the contract period, research was concentrated in the following four areas: nonlinear and, particularly, hysteretic system response to stochastic inputs; fatigue and first passage failure prediction; analysis of coupled structures; and the application of automatic control principles to the reduction of structural vibration.
