AUDITORY SIGNAL DETECTION, CORRELATION AND TRANSMISSION.

Abstract

The research efforts of the laboratory during the five-year period of the OSR-grants were concerned primarily with two areas of psychoacoustics: (1) the phenomena of masking-level differences, or binaural unmasking, and (2) signal detection theory and psychophysics. The research accomplished is presented in this report as abstracts of the published papers, and are classified under the two headings just mentioned. (Author)
