PRELIMINARY ADJUSTMENT OF CRYSTAL FRAGMENTS FOR THE PRECESSION CAMERA USING LAUE PATTERNS.

Abstract

A technique for the preliminary orientation of crystals for the precession camera is described. The method is primarily for the adjustment of crystal fragments which cannot be aligned by optical methods, and is designed to avoid the use of elaborate plotting procedures. A simple device for adapting the binocular microscope crystal stage for X-ray examination is also described. (Author)
