TRANSIENTS IN THE NONLINEAR DYNAMIC SYSTEM OF A TWIN-SHAFT GAS-TURBINE POWER PLANT,

Abstract

Data presented were obtained by analyzing transfer processes in the nonlinear system of a dual shaft GTU-50-800 with regenerator, multiple stage compressor, intercooler, and combustor. A logarithmic solution to the 14th order differential equation for the nonlinear system was worked out on a BESM-2M computer. As an example, the characteristics of the transfer processes were obtained for power plants with partial load operation. This revealed that a change of many variables is accompanied by small amplitude vibrations. (Author)
