CYCLE LIFE TESTING OF SEALED, RECHARGEABLE SILVER-CADMIUM CELLS.

Abstract

Reported are the cycle life tests of sealed, silver-cadmium cells. The report gives the cell capacities for each of the 112th manual discharge cycles following 110 successive automatic and one manual cycle at 62-1/2 % depth of discharge based on rated capacity. The automatic cycling regime consisted of a 6 hour orbit, 3-1/2 hours of charging and 2-1/2 hours of discharge. The report gives data on cell capacities for a total of 1008 cycles. (Author)
