TWO-STEP DEASPHALTING OF TARS FROM PERM PETROLEUMS,

Abstract

Experimental and industrial testing of two-step deasphalting of Kamenolozh petroleum tar showed the possibility of a significant deepening of extraction of deasphaltate. The deasphaltate of the second deasphalting step can be used without phenol refining as cylinder oil 6. Phenol refining with subsequent dewaxing of deasphaltate II yields a high-viscosity residual component for compounding commercial lubricants with a viscosity of 36-37 cSt at 100 degrees C. (Author)
