MECHANISM FOR PROPANE ADSORPTION ON PLATINUM IN ACID ELECTROLYTES.

Abstract

The mechanism of propane adsorption on platinum shows the interrelation of the solubility of propane in various electrolytes and the surface condition of the anode. It is shown that the initial rate of propane adsorption is influenced by the degree of oxidation of the electrode surface. (Author)
