PROGRAM BUDGETING AS A WAY TO FOCUS ON OBJECTIVES IN EDUCATION,

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to describe how program budgeting can encourage decisionmakers in the school district to focus on the objectives of the public schools and thereby provide an impetus for the clarification and rethinking of those objectives.
