INVESTIGATION OF COMPLEX FORMATION OF HYDROXYSTEARIC ACID WITH BORIC ACID BY INFRARED ABSORPTION SPECTRA,

Abstract

Investigation of the IR spectra of solid residues of a mixture of sodium salts in the presence of boric acid (1 to 1 ratio) confirmed that the formation of the complex proceeds with splitting off of a proton from the 1,2-OH groups and filling of the boron octet. (Author)
