QUANTITATIVE RELATIONS BETWEEN PROPERTIES AND MICROSTRUCTURE, CONFERENCE, HAIFA, ISRAEL, 27 JULY-1 AUGUST 1969.

Abstract

The report analyzes the papers presented at an international conference on Quantitative Relations between Properties and Microstructure of Materials which took place in Haifa, Israel, from 27 July through 1 August 1969. Subjects discussed included structural parameters and their evaluation, elastic and plastic deformation, creep, fatigue and fracture of metals and composite materials, dislocation dynamics, application of electron and field ion microscopy, and effects of inclusions and heterogeneity on physical properties of engineering materials.
