SYNTHESIS OF FEEDBACK CONTROLLERS FOR SYSTEMS WITH TIME-DELAY.

Abstract

The investigation develops techniques for synthesizing feedback controllers for systems described by differential difference equations. The study begins with a linear system whose state is not completely available for measurement. A feedback controller is synthesized for such a system which depends on the past history of the available output. The stability of the resulting differential difference equation is analyzed. Then a system with time-delay in its dynamics is considered and the problem of stabilizing the system by means of a feedback controller is discussed. (Author)
