PRECISION FIXED COAXIAL ATTENUATOR,

Abstract

A fixed coaxial attenuator is made in the form of a plane absorbing plate which is connected between the body and the inner and outer conductors of the coaxial. To improve the matching of the attenuator with the coaxial, the outer conductor (at the place where the absorbing plate is fastened) is made from two elastic semicircular metal plates whose shape can be adjusted by screws as shown. The plates are connected with the outer conductor of the coaxial.
