FUEL COMBUSTION QUALITY SENSOR,

Abstract

The invention involves a device for determining fuel combustion efficiency. The device consists of a central tube supplying the combustion products to be analyzed; two parallel tubes are connected to the central tube, with T's supplying a fuel gas to one tube and an oxidizer to the other, and afterburners in each of the two tubes. To increase the rapidity and accuracy of the determination, the afterburners are designed so as to be ionization chambers with electrodes which supply a pulsating high voltage and with an orifice meter at the outlet for measuring the pressure drop.
