RACOMS OPERATIONS MODULE.

Abstract

Report covers the results of the Engineer Design Test for the Rapid Combat Mapping System (RACOMS) Operations Module. This module is a critical component of the RACOMS since it serves as the command control center for the entire system. Report concludes: (a) The module is suitable for effective control of system activities; (b) personnel highly experienced in mapping are required for operating this module; (c) special training of personnel is needed only for the operation of the electronic calculator; (d) no improvements of future models of this module are necessary.
