TRANSIENT NOISE IN ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENTS,

Abstract

The probable sources and couplings of disturbances produced by current transients in the range 10 to the 11th power amperes/second are discussed. Four steps, involving grounding, shielding, damping, and blocking, are detailed as sufficient to exclude noise from oscillographic traces. (Author)
