DEVICE FOR INVESTIGATING THE FLOW IN A WIND TUNNEL,
Abstract
The device consists of pressure pickups mounted on a probe which, in turn, is mounted on a movable rod. The device also has an electromechanical drive, and a rigid pneumometric line leading into the housings of the rod and the support. To increase efficiency, the device is provided with a flexible pneumometric line connecting the outlets of the rigid pneumometric line located at the end of the movable rod and the upper part of the support; the flexible line is mounted on a rigid stand which assumes a given configuration when the rod is displaced.
