BENDING OF A RECTANGULAR ORTHOTROPIC PLATE,

Abstract

The bending of a rigid rectangular plate made of a fiber reinforced plastic was analyzed theoretically, assuming the solid was orthotropic. The bending load on the plate was applied uniformly along the ends. A partial differential equation and boundary conditions were given for the elastic deformation occurring in bending.
