METHOD OF OBTAINING ELECTRO-INSULATING COATINGS,

Abstract

The invention involves a electro-insulating coating method by immersing the heated parts in a chamber with a pulverulent material, thrown upwards by blowing it with air or gas through porous chamber partition, in which, in order to improve coating quality on articles of complex shape, additional blowing is effected into the chamber, this ensuring an accelerated pulverulent material particle velocity in the powdering region. Additional flow velocities slightly exceeding the critical, may be regulated in particular by selecting the thickness of main partition and auxiliary porous partition. (Author)
