SYNTHETIC LUBRICANT,

Abstract

The invention involves a synthetic oil made from pentaerythritol ester and synthetic fatty acids. To insure the efficiency of the synthetic oil in refrigeration machines running on freon-22, the use of the synthetic fatty acid with 5--9 atoms of carbon and antioxidant additive is suggested. Use of ionol in an amount of 0.5--1.0 wt percent or parahydroxydiphenylamine in an amount of 0.3--0.5 wt percent is also recommended. (Author)
