POWER MEASURING DEVICE FOR THE MILLIMETER WAVEBAND,

Abstract

A certificate was issued for a 'dry' -calorimeter-type power measuring device for the millimeter waveband. The device consists of two thin-wall waveguide sections (with thermostatic control) and thermoelements which are placed on the surfaces of the waveguide sections. Graphite absorbing cells with electroheating elements are connected to the waveguide sections. To increase the sensitivity of the calorimeter, the thermoelements are made from thermoresistive microwire which is wound over the waveguide sections. The section windings are connected to the arms of an a-c bridge.
