A NEW FLUID LUBRICANT-COOLANT,

Abstract

Tests were carried out for the purpose of determining the wear resistance of dies, and checks were made of the basic parameters of manufactured threads with the use of different fluid lubricant-coolants. As a result of the experiments and investigations it has been established that the use of used mineral oils for the indicated purposes improves the wear resistance of the cutting tool and lowers the cost of the technological operations.
