A DIFFERENTIAL D-C AMPLIFIER WITH VERY HIGH INPUT IMPEDANCE,

Abstract

A new differential d-c amplifier was designed to be used in conjunction with microelectrode techniques to record the electrical activity of a single biological cell. The differential d-c amplifier consists of a differential cascade and a negative feedback circuit. Specifications of the amplifier are given. The new amplifier has high anti-interference ability, and has been extensively used in a biological laboratory for more than 3 years. Operating experience shows the new amplifier has excellent performance and high stability and is easy to operate.
