Abstract

The monograph contains a characterization of basis climate creating factors (peculiarities of radiation conditions, circulatory processes, and the influence of relief and seas washing land areas), a brief general characterization of climate by seasons, and a brief description of separate elements of climate (thermal conditions, wind conditions and humidity) of the Far East. It also includes regionalizing of territory and a description of the climates of separate regions. The monograph includes the following: 1. European territory, 2. Caucasus, 3. Central Asia, 4. Western Siberia, 5. Eastern Siberia, 6. Far Eastern regions, Kamchatka, and Sakhalin. It is intended for scientists - climatologists, agricultural meteorologists and geographers, also for students of higher educational institutions. (Author)
