INSTRUMENT FOR ANGULAR DEFLECTION OF CABLE FOR EXTERNAL SUSPENSION OF A HELICOPTER LOAD,

Abstract

An instrument for angular deflection of the cable of external suspension of a helicopter load, consisting of a power frame, rigidly attached to the body of a helicopter, and two curved frames, hinged by their ends to the power frame, is distinguished by the fact that, with the purpose of facilitating passage of the cable and of excluding damage during uncoupling or suspension of the load in flight, it is supplied with drives which serve to remove the curved frames to the side of the cable.
