EIGHTY-YEAR CYCLE OF MEAN MONTHLY AIR TEMPERATURE IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE AND HISTORICAL VARIATION OF ICE-CONDITIONS IN THE KARA SEA,

Abstract

It is known that in the middle and high latitudes of the northern hemisphere there has been, over somewhat more than eight decades past, an undulatory variation of the January mean monthly air temperature. In the present paper charts give the values of the mean monthly air temperature anomaly for January of each year during the period under consideration, for points at five-degree intervals of longitude and latitude.
