PHOSPHORUS COORDINATION COMPOUNDS.

Abstract

The report includes list of personnel and publications resulting from research on phosphorus coordination compounds. Brief abstracts are given. Research emphasized phosphorus-31 magnetic resonance spectra of coordination compounds of chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten carbonyls; and platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium and mercury halides. Phosphorus-heavy metal nuclear spin-spin couplings are described for mercury-199, tungsten-183, platinum-195, and rhodium-103. The magnitude of these couplings are related to current bonding theory.
