METHOD FOR OBTAINING POLYESTERS,

Abstract

Polyesters are conventionally prepared from 2-furylacryl acids and diols by direct esterification is well known. In the proposed method, fire-resistant materials are prepared by using P-containing diol partial esters of alkyl phosphonic acid and pentaerythritol. Esterification takes place at 160C with 2-furylacrylic acid. In an example 2-furylacrylic acid and phospolyol are mixed 1.2:1 or 2.5:1 for partial or full synthesis respectively. (Author)
