MACHINE FOR PROJECTION WELDING OF BALL-BEARING CAGES,

Abstract

A ball bearing cage projection welding a machine is described. When welding with a.c. it is necessary to supply the welding current to both sides of the welded objects. Therefore, if each welding point is supplied from a separate transformer it is necessary that the electrode set be placed on one side of the welded cage, or the ball bearing manufacturing process becomes very complicated for automation. The proposed machine is designed to meet these conditions.
