CERTAIN PROBLEMS OF CONTROL OF TERRITORIAL DATA-TRANSMISSION AND -PROCESSING NETWORKS,

Abstract

The problems involved in a decentralized control of territorial information-and-computing networks are considered in general terms. The control is supposed to solve the following problems: (a) controlling the flow of information through the network (see figure); (b) encoding, decoding, and other processing of information; (c) automatic monitoring of network operation.
