AIRCRAFT SHOCK ABSORBER-LANDING GEAR RETRACTOR,
Abstract
An Author Certificate has been issued for a combination shock-absorber and retracting gear for aircraft wheels, which consists of a cylinder with attachment brackets and unions for filling and emptying the working fluid, a piston and a rod with diffusers, a lock, and a floating piston which moves inside the cylinder. To increase operating reliability, and decrease weight and size, it contains a cup attached concentrically to the rod by an annular piston support; between the rod and cup is mounted a spring which interacts on one end with the rod and on the other end through the floating piston with the lock, which is located in the upper part of the cylinder.
