ELECTROLUMINESCENT MATRIX SCREEN,

Abstract

An electroluminescent matrix screen, containing a glass base, system of transparent longitudinal busses, an electroluminescent layer, a photoconducting layer, and a system of transverse busses, is distinguished in that, with the goal of increasing the excitation selectivity of the electroluminescent cells, the opaque layer is located between the electroluminescent and the photoconducting layers, over which, in turn, a solid, semi-transparent electrode, an additional electroluminescent layer, and a system of transverse busses are placed.
