ON A THEORY OF GENERAL RELATIVISTIC THERMODYNAMICS AND VISCOUS FLUIDS.

Abstract

The present work is concerned with relativistic continuum mechanics, within the framework of the general theory of relativity. Basic balance laws and the thermodynamics of the general continua are introduced. Constitutive equations for nonlinear and linear thermoviscous fluids are obtained and restricted by use of the second law of thermodynamics. (Author)
