SUBHARMONIC OSCILLATIONS DURING PARALLEL OPERATION OF DIESEL GENERATORS,

Abstract

Under certain conditions stable subharmonic oscillations may occur in parallel-connected variable-current diesel generators with a frequency of the disturbing forces. These oscillations can be reduced, and in some cases eliminated by reducing the coefficient of amplication of the speed regulator or by reducing the phase displacement angle. (Author)
