QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM FOR ZINC ANODE-ELECTROLYTE COMPOSITES.

Abstract

A quality assurance program was established covering quality control, evaluation, and acceptance procedures to assure the required quality level and performance of the anode electrolyte composite for the mechanically rechargeable zinc-air battery. The report presents the details of this quality assurance program and presents data showing its success in upgrading the quality and performance of composites manufactured by two suppliers. Other benefits of the program in detecting changes in manufacturing procedures or design and indicating direction for further improvement are presented. (Author)
