THEORETICAL PERFORMANCE OF MAGNETOELASTIC DELAY LINES,

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is theoretical evaluation of double-ended magnetoelastic delay lines, with particular emphasis on those having magnetization normal to the direction of propagation. Normal magnetization allows an internal field profile that is concave upward, which is necessary in order to have acoustic input and output. (Author)
