HEALTH OF THE ARMY - RESULTS OF THE EXAMINATION OF YOUTHS FOR MILITARY SERVICE, 1968, SUPPLEMENT.

Abstract

This report presents the results of the examination of youths for military service in 1968. The findings relate to both (a) draftees, namely, registrants forwarded by the local boards of the Selective Service System to the Armed Forces Examining and Entrance Stations (AFEES) for determining their acceptability for military service and subsequent or immediate induction of those who qualify for such service, and (b) voluntary applicants for enlistment examined at the AFEES. Likewise, as in the recent reports, are data relating to Selective Service activities. Unlike the former reports, however, the present report consists primarily of a presentation of the tabular material, preceded by a limited discussion of the 1968 findings. (Author)
