THE KINETICS OF HYDROGEN BOND FORMATION.

Abstract

This report presents a summarization of the research findings, with the main emphasis being on measuring hydrogen-bond kinetics in a number of different types of systems. The technique used for all of the measurements was ultrasonic absorption. The systems studied were t-butanol in cyclohexane, benzoic and o-toluic acid in 1,2-dichloroethane, ethanol in ethyl chloride, and e-caprolactam in cyclohexane. (Author)
