SOME PROBLEMS OF TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION OF OPTICAL PULSED SIGNALS CONSIDERING THE DISCRETE NATURE OF FLUCTUATION NOISES,

Abstract

Certain problems in using devices for separating signals which arise as a result of the discrete nature of electrical currents and radiation are considered. Evaluation of the quality of a system which separates a signal in the presence of noises and interference is based on statistical criteria. Threshold relationships and the effectiveness of transform of energetic similiarity given interference characterized by a Plisson distribution are considered. (Author)
