THE USE OF THE RESULTS OF GEOBOTANIC INTERPRETATION OF AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS AND THE IDENTIFICATION OF LANDSCAPE FEATURES OF TERRITORIES. LENS FORMATION OF LEAKAGE WATERS ON BLACK EARTH AND IN THE SARPINSK LOWLAND,

Abstract

Aerial methods can be successfully used in finding local accumulations of water and to identify the degree of their mineralization. Preliminary interpretation of aerial photographic data makes it possible to delineate the landscapes that show the presence of shallow lenses of fresh water or weakly saline water, to determine its location and to make preliminary estimates of its quality.
