HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER. VOLUME 2, 1968 (COLLECTION OF ARTICLES),

Abstract

The processes of external and internal transfer during chemical reactions are examined. The interesting problems of the investigation of a reacting boundary layer of a multi-component gas, critical heat fluxes during the boiling of organic heat carriers, the intensification of heat and mass transfer, entropy during the melting of polymers, the thermodynamics of plasma flows, process of sublimation by various methods of energy supply, and others are quite thoroughly investigated. Also treated are such problems as internal heat and mass transfer during filtration of gases through a porous body in the case where the gases react both with the wall material and with the external oxidizer.
