THE ROZ-1 GROUND SEARCH RADAR.

Abstract

The ROZ-1 ground search radar is designed to be carried on board modern passenger aircraft and helicopters. It makes possible safe instrument flying and the accurate reading of aircraft coordinates. There are two versions of this radar installation which differ in the type of antenna employed. Both are composed of several individual units which can be arranged on board the aircraft in many different ways. These subsystems are the antenna (LTsl or LTs1A), transmitter- receiver unit (LTs2/12), power supply and distribution box (LTs15A), radar indicator (LTs6), electronic unit (LTs28A), and the control console (LTs21).
