MOTION IN MOLECULAR CRYSTALS GENERAL DISCUSSION, THE FARADAY SOCIETY, OXFORD, 16-18 SEPTEMBER 1969.

Abstract

The four sessions of the Conference attended by an international gathering of 150 chemists and physicists, consisted of an introductory lecture, 20 papers, and much discussion of motion in molecular crystals. Approximately one-third of the papers were theoretical, one-third reported neutron diffraction investigations, and the remainder dealt with measurements of light scattering, Raman and infrared spectra, heat capacities, dielectric absorption, and nuclear magnetic resonance.
