POWER TRANSFORMERS TEST METHODS OF TAP CHANGING DEVICES.

Abstract

Included are methods of testing the various aspects of tap changing devices for power transformers, chapters on measuring contact pressure strength, intermediate contact resistance and torque; testing for the electrical resistance of insulation, for resistance to short circuiting and for mechanical durability. Also a method for checking the sequential action of contacts and their switching off capability is described. (Author)
