SUPERCONDUCTIVITY OF CONTACTS BETWEEN FILMS OF DIFFERENT METALS,

Abstract

Tin-lead and indium-lead transition contacts in film cryotrons were investigated. Vacuum was interrupted between application of the two films. Resistance-temperature curves are presented. Threshold current for the contacts at 0.2K was 15-20 percent below that for the pure films. Operation of actual memory cells verified superconduction in these contacts.
