CONSERVATION OF M29C WEASEL TRACKS

Abstract

Tests were conducted to improve the usefulness of the M29C weasel track system for extensive travel in arctic regions and conserve the remaining supply of weasel tracks. A standard weasel track was cut into five equal lengths and rejoined with specially designed links to form a sectionalized track. Five different types of links were constructed and tested.
