MAXIMUM GAIN OF SPHERICAL AND CONICAL ANTENNAS,

Abstract

The optimization of the gain function of spherical and conical antennas consisting of a system of slotted radiating elements is solved by means of singular vector functions. Spherical antenna Q dependence on sphere elector radius is investigated and the maximum gain of spherical antennas is compared to the maximum gain of an equivalent co-phased aperture. (Author)
