HIGH-CURRENT ANODES FOR HIGH-POWERED XENON ARC LAMPS.

Abstract

In-house studies were made on the failure mechanisms of the positive electrodes (anodes) in xenon arc lamps with 20-KW to 40 KW power ratings. New materials, geometrical designs, and fabrication techniques were employed in experimental anodes and tested under operating conditions. (Author)
