THE QUESTION OF ALGORITHMIZATION OF CONTROL COMPUTERS FOR AIRCRAFT,

Abstract

A method of optimizing the algorithm used in control computers for flight instruments is presented, and the calculation variants for a maximum set of process data (G) are studied. Ignoring the number of cycles in each step (m), G represents the sum of the initial data of each arithmetic operator and the final results of the calculations of the operator. Three definitions are established: the contraction coefficient, the algorithm displacement rate, and the algorithm selection coefficient. An algorithm is selected from among equivalent algorithms which is called the optimum differential algorithm. The minimum operational circuit is based on this and is called the optimum integral algorithm. Two stages in the development of the problem are introduced, and an example is presented. (Author)
